Bowling Green man charged with robbery, terroristic threatening

BOWLING GREEN, Ky. – One man is behind bars after an alleged robbery in Bowling Green on Monday.

According to a uniform citation, the Bowling Green Police Department responded to Amy Court Monday night for a reported disturbance.

Police say a caller stated a male was chasing a female and threw a shovel through their window while trying to enter their house.

Authorities say one caller reported a male assaulting a female. In addition, police say the victim stated the male took her phone from her.

Authorities say they responded to the female’s residence, where they found the male refusing to go outside. According to police, the victim stated no one should be at her home.

The male, identified as 25-year-old Antonio Smith of Bowling Green, was taken into custody.

Smith remains at the Warren County Regional Jail on charges of second-degree robbery, second-degree burglary (attempt), fourth-degree assault dating violence (minor injury), third-degree terroristic threatening and second-degree criminal mischief.
