U.S. Postal Service hosts in-person job fair in Bowling Green
WARREN COUNTY, Ky. – The U.S. Postal Service is the second-largest employer in the United States, and here in Bowling Green, it is looking to expand its business.
The U.S. Postal Service held an in-person job fair for those interested in getting into the carrier business and working their way up.
They are looking to fill at least 20 positions, and many people who start out as carriers end up growing and getting promoted to another position.
John Kirby Brown, active post master at Bowling Green USPS, says, “I actually started as a pre-carrier myself and was able to work through the system. Service is a part of our name itself. Without the carriers, we don’t have the service. So we need the carriers to come in and deliver the mail to the American public.”
