UPDATE: Multiple county police pursuit leads to arrest of 5 juveniles in Logan County

RUSSELLVILLE, Ky. – A multiple-county police pursuit resulted in the arrest of five juveniles Thursday evening.
Kentucky State Police Public Affairs Officer Katan Parker says troopers were dispatched to I-65 Southbound in Warren County at 8:15 pm to attempt to locate a stolen vehicle.
The stolen vehicle fled from police and continued at a high rate of speed into Simpson County.
The pursuit continued into Logan County, where the vehicle eventually wrecked.
Five juveniles exited the vehicle and attempted to flee police on foot.
They were located and taken into custody by the Kentucky State Police in the 8600 block of Franklin Road.
Parker also confirms that the stolen vehicle almost hit a Bowling Green Police Department vehicle head-on.
BGPD Public Information Officer Ronnie Ward confirms that the incident took place on Lovers Lane.
Multiple law enforcement agencies were involved in the pursuit.
