BOWLING GREEN, Ky. – As temperatures drop tonight, some members of the community may find themselves needing a warm place to stay.

Tonight, at least two locations will be open to provide shelter amid cold temperatures:

The Salvation Army Center of Hope Dining Room

This room opens to serve as a “white flag” winter weather shelter Tuesday night, according to the Salvation Army Bowling Green. Check-in tonight will be at 6 p.m.

The Center of Hope is located at 400 W. Main Ave. in Bowling Green.

Bridge KY

In addition to its overnight shelter, Bridge KY states its warming room is open when the temperature drops below 50 degrees and provides shelter Monday through Sunday from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. during those low temperatures.

The nonprofit states on its social media page that the warming room is located by entering the left, front door of its offices at 1411 North Race St. in Glasgow.

News 40 will add additional locations to this list as they are released.
