Vehicle strikes embankment, three injured in Glasgow

GLASGOW, Ky. – The Glasgow Police Department is investigating a single-vehicle accident.
Major Terry Flatt says officers responded to the intersection of North Race Street and Park Drive to an accident with injuries on Wednesday.
The preliminary investigation shows a vehicle, driven by Rachel Ennis, was traveling southbound on North Race Street when it lost control and struck an embankment. The vehicle came to a rest on its side.
Flatt says Barren/Metcalfe EMS transported Rachel Ennis and her passengers, Brittany Hayes, and a juvenile for treatment.
Flatt says seat belts were in use.
