Bowling Green man sentenced to 30 years in daughter’s homicide case

BOWLING GREEN, Ky. – A Bowling Green man faces three decades in prison in the death of his daughter.
According to court records, 52-year-old Damian Bowden was sentenced Tuesday in Warren County Circuit Court to 30 years in prison.
Court records state Bowden entered a guilty plea that same day on charges of murder, abuse of a corpse, tampering with physical evidence, theft by unlawful taking or disposition all others between $10,000 and $1,000,000 and theft by unlawful taking or disposition all others between $1,000 and $10,000.
The charges stem from a homicide case in 2022 of Bowden’s daughter, 30-year-old Daquanna Bowden.
On September 9, 2022, the Warren County Sheriff’s Office says it began a death investigation at Payton Landing Apartments off Scottsville Road after responding for a welfare check. That day, authorities say they found Daquanna Bowden’s body in a bathtub, wrapped in a shower curtain.
That case would then become a homicide investigation and a search for Damian Bowden, who was found in Nashville, Tennessee, along with his daughter’s vehicle.
The U.S. Marshals Task Force arrested Damian Bowden there on October 18, 2022.
The total sentence is concurrent for each charge related to this case.
