Free movies to be shown at the Capitol in September

BOWLING GREEN, Ky. – The Capitol in Bowling Green is hosting several free movies throughout the month of September.

According to the Warren County Public Library, the following films will be showing:

  • “Forbidden Planet:” Wednesday, Sept. 3 at 6:30 p.m.
  • “Friday the 13th Part VI: Jason Lives:” Thursday, Sept. 4 at 7 p.m.
  • “American Graffiti:” Saturday, Sept. 6 at 3:30 p.m.
  • “Dazed and Confused:” Saturday, Sept. 6 at 5:30 p.m.
  • “After Hours:” Saturday, Sept. 6 at 8 p.m.
  • “12 Angry Men (Subtitled):” Monday, Sept. 8 at 2 and 6:30 p.m.
  • “Serial Mom:” Wednesday, Sept. 10 at 6:30 p.m.
  • “Kiss Meets the Phantom of the Park:” Thursday, Sept. 11 at 6:30 p.m.
  • “Rango:” Friday,  Sept. 12 at 5 p.m.
  • “No Country for Old Men:” Friday, Sept. 12 at 7 p.m.
  • “Pan’s Labyrinth:” Wednesday, Sept. 17 at 6:30 p.m.
  • “Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles (1990):” Friday, Sept. 19 at 5 p.m.
  • “Scott Pilgrim vs. The World – 15th Anniversary:” Friday, Sept. 19 at 7 p.m.

All movies are completely free, and no ticket is required. Concessions are available for purchase at the Capitol located at 416 E. Main Ave. in Bowling Green.
