Pedestrian flown after suspected hit-and-run in Clarksville, police say

CLARKSVILLE, Tenn. – Clarksville police are investigating a suspected hit-and-run involving a pedestrian.

According to the Clarksville Police Department, officers responded to a 911 call around 8:30 p.m. Thursday regarding a male lying in the road near 209 Providence Boulevard.

Police say upon arrival, they found an unresponsive male in the road, along with some vehicle parts.

Officers say the victim was flown to Nashville for treatment.

Anyone who witnessed the pedestrian being struck by a vehicle is asked to call 911. Police say the status of the victim is unknown at this time.
