$225,000 top prize ticket sold in Owensboro; $1 million Powerball ticket still unclaimed

OWENSBORO, Ky. – One lucky winner can claim a $225,000 winning Cash Ball 225 ticket in Owensboro.

The Kentucky Lottery says the drawing Thursday night produced the winning numbers, 3, 25, 32, 34 and a Cash Ball of 25.

The winning ticket was reportedly purchased at QQ Food Mart at 4510 Highway 54 in Owensboro.

Lottery officials say the ticket matched four white ball winnings numbers and the Cash Ball, winning the top prize.

In addition, a $1 million Powerball ticket was sold within the last month at an Owensboro Kroger at 1670 Starlite Drive.

According to lottery officials, that ticket is from a July 7 drawing and is still unclaimed.

The winner has 180 days from the date of the drawing to claim the ticket at Kentucky Lottery headquarters, officials say.

The Kentucky Lottery advises the winners to:

  • Sign the back of their tickets.
  • Keep them in a secure location.
  • Claim their prize within 180 days from the date of the drawing.

Winners must claim their prizes at lottery headquarters at 1011 W. Main St. in Louisville. Winners should contact the lottery at 1-877-789-4532 to make an appointment to claim their prize.

Saturday’s Powerball jackpot is currently estimated at nearly a half a million dollars ($482 million) and the drawing will take place at 11 p.m. ET.
