Mud Happens Run Supports Child Abuse Prevention; Early Bird Discount Ends After July 4th!

BOWLING GREEN, Ky. – The Family Enrichment Center (FEC) is hosting its 12th Annual Mud Happens—One Bad Mud Run presented by Henkel on Saturday, August 23, 2025, at Phil Moore Park. This 3-mile obstacle course through muddy terrain serves as a critical fundraiser for child abuse prevention services in South Central Kentucky.

Early bird registration, offering a discounted price and guaranteed race t-shirt, concludes today, July 4th. Individual competitive heats begin at 7:30 a.m., followed by non-competitive heats every 15 minutes from 7:45 a.m.

The event, designed for ages 10 and up, also features a free Kids Mud Bath for children aged 9 and under. All proceeds directly benefit the FEC’s programs, including affordable childcare and parenting classes.
