Russellville Rural firefighters respond to equipment fire

LOGAN COUNTY, Ky. – First responders were at the scene after equipment reportedly caught fire in Logan County.
The Russellville Rural Fire Department says it was dispatched to a piece of equipment on fire off of the 3000 block of Nashville Road.
The fire was extinguished thanks to the assistance of multiple individuals, including Lt. James Kemp, FF Alex Loveland, Mason Marney, Walt Scriggs and James Boyd, according to fire officials.
Fire officials say the fire was brought under control without further incident.
