Beech Bend Park reopens after storm damage cleanup

BOWLING GREEN, Ky.– Beech Bend Park is back open after closing due to storm damage sustained Thursday.
According to a release, the park is back open to guests Friday, June 20.
Beech Bend says the park has been cleaned up, inspected and is once again ready to welcome the public for a full day of summer fun.
The park says some minor areas are under repair, but the majority of attractions and the Splash Lagoon water park will be open and fully operational.
“We’re incredibly grateful for our hardworking staff who moved quickly to make the park safe and beautiful again,” said Charlotte Gonzales, spokesperson for Beech Bend Park. “We can’t wait to see everyone back for Day 5 of Kids Fest and all the special experiences planned for this weekend.”
