Allen County to benefit from grants totaling $187,000 for community projects

ALLEN COUNTY, Ky. – Allen County will benefit from three grants that amount to a total of $187,000.

According to Allen County judge-executive Dennis Harper, the grants from the State Environmental Cabinet include one for recycling in the amount of $25,000 for a new baler, one for household hazardous waste collection in the amount of $35,000 for the Allen County Fairgrounds and one for rubberized modified asphalt paving of A R Oliver Road in the amount of $127,000.

Harper says efforts for ways to bring more money into Allen County are ongoing.
