Units respond to weekend structure fire in Warren County

WARREN COUNTY, Ky. – A Warren County home is damaged following a fire over the weekend.

According to the Woodburn Fire Department, units responded to a structure fire in the 700 block of Whitewood Court.

Fire officials say they were dispatched, along with mutual aid from Plano Fire Department, Alvaton Fire Department and Browning Fire Department, for smoke coming from a residence.

Neighbors noticed smoke entered the home and found a fire burning in the kitchen, according to officials.

Officials say the neighbors used a garden hose until fire units arrived.

The department says no one was found inside the home, and no injuries were reported.

According to the department, the fire was contained to the kitchen, with smoke damage noted in other rooms.
