Kentucky woman makes history with lottery scratch-off win

TOMPKINSVILLE, Ky. – A south central Kentucky woman won the largest scratch-off prize in Kentucky Lottery history.
The woman, who wishes to remain anonymous, is from Tompkinsville and won a $5 million prize from a ticket sold at a gas station in Tompkinsville.
Taking the lump sum of $3.4 million, her check was around $2.4 million after taxes.
She even won the lottery on her birthday and plans to buy a new home with her fiancé.
