Nurturing our Nurses event to be hosted at Village Manor

BOWLING GREEN, Ky.- A special day of relaxation and appreciation is coming to south-central Kentucky, and it’s all about honoring nurses.

Village Manor, a nursing home in Bowling Green, is hosting its second annual “Nurturing Our Nurses” event. The celebration aims to give back to the nurses who give so much every day. Attendees can enjoy giveaways, gift cards, food and a space designed to help them feel valued.

Chris Minnich, executive director of Village Manor, emphasized the importance of nurses, saying, “We couldn’t function without nurses. We cannot function without nurses.”

The event recognizes the vital roles nurses play in hospitals, clinics, long-term care, and rehabilitation centers. It’s open to all nurses and will take place on May 29.

Village Manor hopes the event brings joy and well-deserved recognition to healthcare heroes across the region.
