UPDATE: 75-year-old man Elkton man found safe in Pennsylvania

ELKTON, Ky. – Police say Hopkins Taylor has been located safe in Carlisle, Pennsylvania.

ELKTON, Ky. – A senior man from Elkton is missing.

The Elkton Police Department says Hopkins Taylor, 75, of Elkton, was last seen leaving his residence in the city on April 23, 2025.

EPD says it was contacted by law enforcement in Carlisle, Pennsylvania, on or about April 24 or April 25. EPD says Taylor was located and transported to a hotel on Harrisburg Pike in Carlisle.

Police say no records show that Taylor checked into the hotel.

Taylor has not been seen or heard from since.

EPD says Taylor may be wearing a U.S. Army Veteran hat. His other attire is unknown.
