SKYCTC FBLA-Collegiate members excel at state leadership conference

BOWLING GREEN, Ky. – Students from Southcentral Kentucky Community and Technical College showed their skills at the 2025 FBLA-Collegiate State Leadership Conference on March 30.

Held at Georgetown College, these students competed against peers from colleges and universities across Kentucky.

According to a release by SKYCTC, its students achieved several top finishes and qualified for national competition.

Five SKYCTC representatives placed in the top two of their respective events, earning a spot at the upcoming FBLA-Collegiate National Leadership Conference.

Top state conference results:

  • First Place:
    • Josh Martin – Public Speaking
    • Josh Martin – Computer Science
    • Martha Koppi – Foundations of Technology
    • Megan Maclean – Computer Applications
  • Second Place:
    • Trel Thompson – Foundations of Entrepreneurship
    • Will Arnett – Foundations of Management

In addition to individual successes, the SKYCTC chapter was honored with the prestigious Outstanding Chapter award, recognizing excellence in leadership, participation, and community engagement.
