Easter egg hunts taking place in the local area

BOWLING GREEN, Ky. – Easter weekend is finally almost here, and there are plenty of Easter egg hunts across south-central Kentucky.

Below are just a few taking place.

The first annual Easter Egg Hunt by the Edmonson County Winterguard is set for Saturday, April 19 at noon at Edmonson County High School.

Then, the Alvaton Church of Christ is hosting its annual cookout and egg hunt that runs from noon to 3 p.m.

Here are additional egg hunts in the local area:

  • Easter Egg Hunt in Woodburn at Hopkins Nursing and Rehabilitation Center at 3:30 p.m. on April 18.
  • Peace, Love and Peeps at The Foundry at 9:30 a.m. April 19.
  • Scottsville 1st UMC’s Easter Egg Hunt at Dugas Community Park from 10 a.m. to noon on April 19.
  • Greenwood Baptist Church Easter Egg Hunt from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. April 19.
  • Easter Egg Hunt at Oak Grove Baptist Church at 10 a.m. April 19.
  • Temple Hill Baptist Church Easter Foam Party and Egg Hunt from 2 to 4 p.m. April 19.
  • Horse Cave Community Easter Egg Hunt at 10:30 a.m. April 19.
