BGMU working on improvements to some water service lines

BOWLING GREEN, Ky. – Bowling Green Municipal Utilities customers may see improvements to their water service lines.
BGMU has been working diligently over the last three years to identify both customer and BGMU-owned service line materials.
They are happy to report that there are no lead lines in the distribution system.
However, there are a few galvanized lines that will need to be addressed for approximately 3,700 customers.
BGMU encourages customers to watch the mail for a postcard or letter from them to see if their lines will be impacted by this upcoming fix.
If you do not get any correspondence from the company, no action is needed.
