Edmonton woman charged with drug possession after traffic stop

GLASGOW, Ky. – An Edmonton woman is charged with drug offenses.

Glasgow Police Department Public Information Officer Major Terry Flatt says a traffic stop was conducted on Burkesville Road on Tuesday.

An officer made contact with Randee Bell, 36, of Edmonton.

The officer says an odor of marijuana was coming from inside the vehicle. A search of the vehicle located suspected marijuana, methamphetamine, drug paraphernalia, a set of scales, and a Diazepam.

Bell was taken into custody and transported to the Barren County Detention Center.

Bell is charged with careless driving, possession drug paraphernalia, possession control substance 3rd degree drug unspecified, prescription control substance not in proper container 1st offense, possession of marijuana, possession control substance 1st degree 1st offense (methamphetamine).
