COWS test scheduled for Friday canceled in Warren County

WARREN COUNTY, Ky. – A community outdoor warning siren test scheduled for Friday, April 4 in Warren County has been canceled.

Warren County Emergency Management says the quarterly test has been canceled due to forecasted severe weather.

Emergency officials say spring inspections of all 33 COWS were completed with no major issues. In addition, they say during Sunday night’s tornado warning, COWS sounded successfully.

Emergency management says its office believes canceling this scheduled test will help reduce anxiety for those affected by storm-related stress.
