Mammoth Cave National Park to have temporary road closure
MAMMOTH CAVE, Ky. – Mammoth Cave National Park will temporarily close a road portion on Tuesday, March 11.
Park officials say the closure will include part of of Flint Ridge Road from the intersection at Mammoth Cave Parkway near the visitor center to Mammoth Cave Baptist Church at 6 a.m.
Access to the church and cemetery will remain open during this time.
The temporary closure will allow park maintenance crews to complete restoration on historic stone walls along the road that were recently damaged.
The road will reopen to the public at 6 a.m. on Wednesday, March 12.
