Bowling Green Public Works continues work on sinkhole

BOWLING GREEN, Ky. – Bowling Green Public Works crews are continuing work on a sinkhole that opened up last week on Single Tree Way.

According to the City of Bowling Green, contractors have excavated the sinkhole on Single Tree Way to bedrock.

Crews are preparing the area to fill it in with rock on Tuesday, officials say.

Officials say a drainage structure will be installed, and the roadway will be repaired next.
