‘A different kind of security,’ T.J. Regional Health security guard looks out for everyone

GLASGOW, Ky. – At T.J. Regional Health, they have the pleasure of having one man on payroll by the name of Randy Kingrey.

Kingrey is an Air Force veteran who served 25 years and wanted to keep serving, so he came home and found a job at the local hospital. At T.J., Kingrey of course does his part to protect patients and staff, but he goes a little beyond that.

He’s known to help out with patients without asking and pull cars up to the door at night for co-workers. But you might also catch him clearing snow off cars.

Kingrey was photographed just doing what he considers as regular, though it’s not in his job description. The guard told us if he’s in the position to help, he always will.

Kingrey said the little things matter, and he has his years of service to thank for making him the man he is today.
