English to receive inaugural Chief Justice Minton Award

FRANKFORT, Ky. – A Bowling Green attorney will receive an award honoring Second District Kentucky attorneys who advance Kentucky’s judicial system.

According to a press release, Bowling Green attorney Charles E. English has been named the inaugural Chief Justice Minton Award recipient.

English is a partner of ELPO Law.

The award honors Chief Justice John D. Minton, Jr. Minton and his legacy and career in improving Kentucky’s legal system, making it more accessible and efficient.

English is a member of the American Bar Association Board of Governors and a chair of the finance committee.

He was a member of the ABA’s House of Delegates and the ABA’s Standing Committee on the Federal Judiciary.

English is active in the Warren County community. He served as Vice President of the Board of Directors of the Kentucky Chamber of Commerce and on the board of the Kentucky Historical Society.

The inaugural Chief Justice Minton Award will be presented to English on Thursday, February 6 at La Gala in downtown Bowling Green.
