Man arrested in alleged attempted murder-for-hire of Graves Co. commonwealth attorney
GRAVES COUNTY, Ky. – One man has been accused of hiring people to kill the Graves County commonwealth attorney.
The Graves County Sheriff’s Office says they got information that 38-year-old Brandon Cavette was attempting to hire individuals from the Houston Texas area to have the Graves County Commonwealth Attorney, Richie Kemp, killed.
Cavette was arrested Thursday by Graves sheriff’s deputies on a variety of felony drug trafficking charges after they seized 15 pounds of processed marijuana, over 4,000 ecstasy pills and over 3,000 etizolam pills, along with $8,000 in cash.
This was part of an investigation whereas a search warrant was executed at his home on Key Bottom Road just north of Mayfield.
