Beshear to close all state office buildings Monday due to weather

FRANKFORT, Ky. – Gov. Andy Beshear has announced all state office buildings will be closed Monday, Jan. 6 due to inclement weather.

Multiple vehicles collisions have been reported throughout the morning and afternoon Sunday as winter weather conditions continue. Law enforcement agencies within multiple counties are encouraging drivers to avoid going out onto the road if possible.

The governor stated that executive branch agencies will still provide essential services.
