Jambodians Bash returns to provide musical instruments to children
BOWLING GREEN, Ky. – The Jambodian Bash has officially been around for 25 years, and it is still thriving.
The musical homecoming features local bands from all over Kentucky.
Funds raised by the community and band members at this annual event go directly to provide musical instruments for children all over south-central Kentucky.
One Jambodian organizer shares why it’s such an important event for them.
Tony Lindsey, president of the Son Rhea Foundation, says, “The Sun Rhea Foundation distributes instruments to children in Warren and surrounding counties that would not ordinarily be able to afford them. So it means it means a great deal. It’s very gratifying to be able to do that, because it meant so much is made to me as a young kid to.”
More kids will be impacted in a positive way, and they’ll be able to get their hands on a musical experience.
