(WNKY) – It’s almost Christmas, but even now, children can see where Santa Claus is heading next.

Every year, the North American Aerospace Defense Command provides a constant update for families to see where gifts are being delivered.

According to the Associated Press, the idea started in 1955 and still remains a tradition today. To learn more about the history behind the tradition, click here.

The live website shows the next destination, current city, number of gifts delivered and an interactive map, all in real time.
