TriStar Greenview Regional Hospital unveils new sterilization processing department

BOWLING GREEN, Ky. – TriStar Greenview Regional Hospital cut the ribbon on its new sterilization processing department Tuesday.

The renovation project took six months to complete.

The new facility offers state of the art equipment for washing and sterilizing equipment and will improve infection prevention.

Sam Younger, COO of Tristar Greenview, says, “The biggest advantages are going to be a doubling of the workspace to almost 3000 square feet. It is a significant investment in our community. This improves our ability to increase our surgical volume, meet the demands of the community.”

During the construction, the sterilization department had to work out of a mobile unit.
