Grayson County man allegedly attacks four women, found naked
LEITCHFIELD, Ky. – A man is in custody after assaulting four women.
The Grayson County Sheriff’s Office says it responded to Golfcourse Road to a report of an active assault on Saturday.
At the scene, deputies located Blake Vanmeter, 27, leaning over the front door naked. Deputies say Vanmeter resisted arrest and spit at them before being taken into custody.
The owner of the home says Vanmeter was “hanging out” at the residence drinking alcohol when he “snapped” and allegedly assaulted three women. Vanmeter allegedly broke several items in the house during the assault.
The women were able to lock Vanmeter out of the house. They say Vanmeter broke a window to try to reenter.
Vanmeter was transported to a hospital for treatment where he spit at staff. Deputies say Vanmeter also threatened to kill them.
Vanmeter is charged with second-degree criminal mischief, alcoholic intoxication in a public place first and second offense, fourth-degree assault (minor injury), third-degree assault (EMS, Fire, Rescue Squad), resisting arrest, menacing, second-degree disorderly conduct, and fourth-degree assault dating violence (minor injury).
Vanmeter is lodged at the Grayson County Detention Center.
