UPDATE: Tractor-trailer extinguished on I65 Southbound

UPDATE: Kentucky State Police Post 3 Public Affairs Officer Katan Parker says one of the tractor-trailer’s tires blew out, causing a fire on the back passenger side.

KSP inspected the trailer and it was transporting coal.

Parker says the Park City Fire Department extinguished the fire.

No injuries are reported at this time.

BOWLING GREEN, Ky. – According to the Warren County Sheriff’s Office, a tractor-trailer fire has been cleared on I65 43-mile marker.

The fire caused travel delays.

Sheriff Brett Hightower says the scene was cleared at approximately 8:35 am.
