Warren County Regional Jail staff and inmates build bikes for Christmas

BOWLING GREEN, Ky. – The Warren County Regional Jail is helping bring a new set of wheels to children of Warren County this Christmas.

According to a Facebook post by the jail on Thursday, staff and inmate Dennis Page worked to assemble 24 bicycles today.

Jail officials say the bikes and riding toys put together by inmates earlier this week will head to the Toys for Tots North Pole early next week.

There, they will be distributed to children in the local area between now and Christmas.

The jail says it is proud of its staff and inmates who want to serve in this way.
