Footprints in snow lead to burglary arrest of Glasgow man

GLASGOW, Ky. – A Glasgow man is charged with burglary and criminal mischief after an incident at Weldon Park.

Glasgow Police Department Public Information Office Major Terry Flat says the department responded to reports of a burglary at a building at the park overnight on Tuesday.

Officers say the building door was damaged and a toolbox had been stolen.

After a review of surveillance video, officers say they tracked the suspect by following footprints in the snow to a residence on Cleveland Avenue.

Officers made contact with Logan Stilts, 37 of Glasgow, at the residence. Officers searched the residence and located the stolen toolbox in the attic of the garage.

Stilts was arrested and is charged with possession of burglary tools, second-degree burglary, and second-degree criminal mischief.

Stilts is lodged at the Barren County Corrections Center.
