GRECC receives General Motors community impact grant

BOWLING GREEN, Ky. – Local STEM education is receiving support from an international automotive manufacturing company.
On Thursday, Green River Regional Educational Cooperative (GRREC) announced it has been awarded the General Motors community impact grant.
The grant will aid the growth of GRREC’s STEM-a-THON program. The program provides inclusive STEM education for students in the South Central Kentucky region.
STEM-a-THON allows students hands-on education in robotics, coding, and continued education. GRREC provides opportunities to neurodiverse learners and underrepresented to thrive in the program.
