Beshear honoring veterans at ceremony in Louisville
LOUISVILLE, Ky. – This Veterans Day, Gov. Andy Beshear is honoring veterans in a celebration of patriotism.
During the event at Saint Louis Cemetery in Louisville, Beshear will participate in this celebration.
The Veterans Day ceremony will honor 16 black veterans who served in the Civil War as Buffalo Soldiers and in World War I.
America is the home of the free because of the brave. Today we honor the selfless heroes who have sacrificed to protect our commonwealth and our country. God bless our veterans and those who continue to serve.
