Local NAACP hosts annual Freedom Fund Gala

BOWLING GREEN, Ky. – A local organization celebrated those who advocate for civil rights and social reform on Saturday evening.

The Bowling Green-Warren County NAACP hosted its annual Freedom Fund Gala at the WKU Carroll Knicely Conference Center.

Local youth, individuals, businesses, and non-profits were recognized for their contributions to the community.

Award recipients include Evolving Lives in the L.E.A.D. Award Business category and BG Freedom Walkers in the L.E.A.D. Award Nonprofit category.

The event also featured dinner and a dancing celebration.
