Burlington opens, donates $5,000 to Lost River Elementary School
BOWLING GREEN, Ky. – On Gary Farms Boulevard, Burlington has opened up its newest store, and they are already making a big impact on the community.
On Friday morning, they gifted Lost River Elementary School $5,000.
The money that was presented will be going straight into classrooms, helping teachers to pay for school supplies that will help them get through the year.
Beth Croslin, the principal of Lost River Elementary School, said she could not be more appreciative of this gift.
“It’s just such a wonderful gesture to see a local business partner with the school system. Our public schools are so important. And any extra funds that come in just help ease the burden, for the families and so. And the staff. So we’re just really excited to receive that and use it well,” Croslin said.
Lost River Elementary was chosen through the Adopt a Classroom program where major companies will donate funds to help local children and educators in the classroom.
