UPDATE: KSP investigating report of shots fired in Horse Cave

HORSE CAVE, Ky. – The Kentucky State Police is investigating a report of shots fired in Horse Cave, officials say.

KSP Post 3 interim public affairs officer Allen Shirley confirmed Sunday shortly before 4 p.m. that troopers were investigating in the area of Charlie Moran Highway.

Details are limited at this time.

At 6:20 p.m., Shirley confirmed troopers had left the area and were unable to confirm the reports of shots being fired.
