Man facing charges after hitting pedestrian, house

BOWLING GREEN, Ky. – A Bowling Green man is facing charges after allegedly trying to hit a man with his vehicle.

The Bowling Green Police Department says it responded to Andrew Way to a vehicle versus pedestrian collision on Tuesday.

At the scene, police say they observed the suspect in the collision walking toward Glen Lily Road.

The suspect, Khalil Bowman, 23, of Bowling Green, said he was driving at a pedestrian victim to scare them due to a personal dispute, according to authorities. Police say the victim may have sustained serious physical injury and was transported to a local hospital.

Police say that while driving at the victim, Bowman’s vehicle collided with another vehicle and a house on Andrew Way. The estimated damage is over $500. Police say two individuals inside the house were in danger of death or serious physical injury.

Bowman is charged with second-degree assault, first-degree wanton endangerment, first-degree criminal mischief, and leaving the scene of accident/failure to render aid/assist with death or serious physical injury.

Bowman is lodged at the Warren County Jail.
