Guthrie announces $3.64 million grant to improve Riverfront Park

BOWLING GREEN, Ky. – Improvements to Riverfront Park will move forward.

Congressman Brett Guthrie announced a federal grant of $3.64 million for the City of Bowling Green to improve Riverfront Park.

The grant is from the National Parks Service Outdoor Recreation Legacy Partnership Program.

Congressman Guthrie says the project will provide the residents of Bowling Green with new experiences and will drive tourism to the area.

“I’m pleased to announce that the City of Bowling Green has been awarded a federal grant to develop the Riverfront Park along the Barren River. This new park will be a center for recreation and community for Kentuckians across Warren County and the surrounding areas,” said Congressman Guthrie.
