Ohio County Sheriff arrests man on drug charges

HARTFORD, Ky. – A man faces charges following a routine traffic stop.
The Ohio County Sheriff’s Office made a routine traffic stop early Sunday morning in the Hartford Community. The vehicle was traveling northbound on US Highway 231.
Deputies say suspected drug paraphernalia was in plain view. K9 officer Egon was deployed to the vehicle and detected an alert.
Deputies searched the vehicle and located suspected methamphetamine, drug paraphernalia, and prescriptions not in proper containers.
The driver is identified as James Bradshaw.
Bradshaw is charged with possession of a controlled substance 1st degree, 3rd or> offense (methamphetamine), prescription controlled substance not in proper container 1st offense, and drug paraphernalia- buy/possess.
Bradshaw was taken into custody and is lodged at the Ohio County Detention Center.
