FBI agent speaks at local Rotary Club
BOWLING GREEN, Ky. – An FBI agent spent time Wednesday speaking at the Bowling Green Rotary Club about what it is like to be a special agent for the Louisville Field Office.
Special Agent Aaron Rayburn busted some myths saying the FBI does not have a profile on every person in the country nor are they spying on the American public.
During the presentation, Rayburn also highlighted some of the work the FBI has done in the area, speaking of multiple doctors arrested for opioid prescribing practices as well as the two Iraqi men charged with conspiring with al-Qaida.
Rayburn also told attendees what the FBI is looking for in future agents.
He says the agency wants a diverse range of people who excel at what they do.
According to Agent Rayburn, the FBI requires a Bachelor’s degree with two years of experience working as a professional.
