Firefighters respond for field fire in Morgantown

MORGANTOWN, Ky. – Units responded for a fire on Wednesday in Morgantown.

In a social media post, the Fourth District Fire Department says crews were dispatched to Bill Embry Road for a report of a hay bailer and field on fire.

Firefighter say crews quickly got the fire under control.

The fire was extinguished thanks to assistance from Butler County Dispatch, Butler County Emergency Management, Fifth District Fire and the Morgantown Fire Department.
