Girl Scouts get ready for peak recruiting season
BOWLING GREEN, Ky. – With the start of the new school year and kids back in the classroom, the Girl Scouts of Kentuckiana is entering peak recruitment season. The Girl Scouts of Kentuckiana has been thriving in recent years, reaching the top 15 for recruiting across the whole country.
Membership experience coordinator Felicia Bland tells News 40 that the Girls Scouts is an excellent place for girls to learn, grow and make new friends, and there’s always new opportunities for the girls to develop new life long skills along the way.
There are some important dates coming up if you are interested in signing up your daughter.
On Aug. 27 at the Higgins Non-Profit Center, the Girl Scouts will host cookies with the BGPD, and then on Aug. 29 at the Bob Kirby Branch Library, they will be hosting a Unicorn Party.
