Man charged with assault, terroristic threatening in Bowling Green

BOWLING GREEN, Ky. – One man is facing several charges related to an alleged assault in Bowling Green.
According to a uniform citation, the Bowling Green Police Department responded Thursday to West 10th Avenue for a disturbance.
Once on scene, police say they spoke with Ciro Flores-Morales, 55, as well as an uninvolved caller and a victim.
Police say the victim stated she was attempting to enter a friend’s car when Flores-Morales grabbed her, preventing her from leaving.
Police say they learned that Flores-Morales had a warrant and an active EPO involving the victim.
Flores-Morales was placed into custody.
While searching Flores-Morales, police say they found a meth pipe with suspected methamphetamine residue in his front pocket.
Police say they spoke to the victim further, who stated Flores-Morales had shown up at her home that was listed on the EPO and forced his way into the house. The victim stated Flores-Morales threatened to kill her and her child, who lives out of state, and twisted the victim’s foot, causing a large amount of pain, the uniform citation states.
Police say the victim was visibly having a hard time walking on her right leg.
Flores-Morales was transported to the Warren County Detention Center.
He is charged with first-degree possession of a controlled substance, first offense (methamphetamine), drug paraphernalia – buy/possess, first-degree burglary, fourth-degree assault (domestic violence), minor injury, third-degree terroristic threatening and violation of a Kentucky EPO/DVO. He is additionally charged on a warrant for U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement.
