U.S. 41 to temporarily close at U.S. 79 intersection in southern Todd County

TODD COUNTY, Ky. — A project to widen U.S. 79 in southern Todd County near Guthrie will temporarily close a section of U.S. 41 next week.

Beginning Monday, Sept. 14, U.S. 41 will be closed at the intersection with U.S. 79 through Wednesday, Sept. 16, the Kentucky Transportation Cabinet District Three says. The closure will be limited to the intersection.

Drivers traveling on U.S. 79 will not be able to turn onto U.S. 41 toward Guthrie. Drivers traveling on U.S. 41 will not be able to turn onto U.S. 79 from that approach.

A signed detour using KY 346 (Ewing Road) will be in place.
