Dozens of girls with disabilities honored at Princess Prom

BOWLING GREEN, Ky.- This Saturday, dozens of girls with disabilities in our community were honored at the 2024 Princess Prom.

The event is apart of Princess with a Purpose, an effort by Kerprecia Bullard and her mother Felicia Bland. A Princess Party with a different theme is held every year for Kerprecia’s birthday, to honor women and girls with disabilities in the community.

It’s a space for all to feel welcome, dress their best, and dance the night away. But it’s also a space to make new friendships and honor those of all backgrounds. Planning for next year’s Princess Party is already underway, and you can help out!
