BG Static softball wins world series in Florida
BOWLING GREEN, KY – Earlier this month, BG Static 2015 went down to Panama City Beach, Florida, to play in the USFA world series which consisted of 38 other 8U travel softball teams.
The BG static girls played hard in Florida and after eight undefeated games, the team came home as champions.
At a practice earlier this week, coaches presented to the girls their well-deserved world series champion rings.
Before the special moment, some of the girls spoke on what their favorite part about playing softball with their friends is on the field.
“I love the funny moments,” Carter Vincent said. “My name is wild thing, which is my nickname, and I’m like the static class clown.”
“They’re very cheerful,” Natalie Robydek said. “They are very bubbly most of the time and they’re just fun to be around. I love playing with them.”
“I love playing with my teammates because they’re really nice,” Audrey Paster. said. “They all really have my back and we’re just like sisters.”
“They’re nice to me and they cheer, and they’re pumped up,” Emma Eddings said.
